Nutrition Services
The Nutrition Services Breakfast and Lunch Programs are designed to provide nutritious meals for growing children. Breakfast is available at all schools, and all district students may purchase a variety of hot lunch selections or fresh salads. Our breakfast meal provides one quarter of the recommended dietary allowance (RDA) for children, and lunch provides one third of the RDA. The Nutrition Services Department has actively taken steps to reduce the fat content of school meals to 30 percent or less, as recommended in the Dietary Guidelines for Americans.

PLEASE NOTE: As of January 21 Duncanville ISD no longer uses Lunch Money Now as the district's online cafeteria payment portal. The district transitioned to ParentOnline for all online payments for student breakfast and lunch accounts. Read more below.

NEW Online Parent Payment Portal Launched January 21
Duncanville ISD is making key changes to cafeteria services. The district transitioned to a new Point of Sale Nutrition Services software provider on January 21, 2014 in order to better serve students and their families. This change means the district’s old online payment portal for student breakfast and lunch accounts has been replaced by a new system called ParentOnLine.

ParentOnline Features

  • View your child’s cafeteria account balance
  • Review daily spending and purchases
  • Access from any computer 24/7
  • Low balance email reminders
  • Automatic payments

ParentOnline is a safe and secure way for parents to make online payments to their children’s cafeteria accounts! The new online cafeteria payment system will provide parents continued peace of mind that their students can purchase breakfast or lunch quickly and easily using their cafeteria accounts.

Parents can send cash or checks to school with their children, or they can add money via credit card to an online account. Money or checks brought to school will be credited to the student’s cafeteria account.

There’s no need to cancel your LunchMoney Now account. Ending balances will be transferred to students’ new accounts once parents have registered with ParentOnline.
